Our system supports customers and providers to be in a different time zone. When a customer schedules an appointment, the system tries to determine their time zone based on their own system settings. If it cannot detect it, it will default to Central Time zone. The time zone is shown on the second screen when the customer books the appointment. If the customer selects the wrong time zone from where they are located, it will result in the booking time being incorrect.
Verifying the Time Zone for the Provider
Another reason that could cause the appointment time to be incorrect is the Provider's time zone being incorrectly set. To verify the Provider's time zone, follow the steps below:
- Log into the Backend of your Rx Appointments site
- Click on "Users" at the top
- Select the Provider on the left and verify the time zone is set correctly for the Provider
